When our great-grandfather first came to San Genesio/Jenesien in the middle of the last century, there’s no question it was love at first sight. Although much has changed since then, many things have remained the same. We believe that this is the magic of our eco hotel. It is surrounded by a world as pure as it is abundant. As lively as it is timeless. We have made it our mission to keep it that way. That is our commitment. We owe it to nature. That’s why we don’t have coffee capsules or use plastic. We recycle and use local building materials, renewable energy, and rainwater. We built our hotel as sensibly as possible, using building materials such as red porphyry from the excavated ground. We encourage and reward the eco-consciousness of our guests and refrain from using unnecessary chemicals for laundry or in our pools. Short delivery routes and true regionality are more important to us than organic tomatoes from Spain or pineapples from Southeast Asia. However, all of this still isn’t enough for us. That is why we contribute to reforestation projects and initiatives to protect the environment. By the way, you also do this whenever you book a room or suite with us. Because of all our efforts, we can proudly call ourselves climate neutral. And this is just the beginning.
