Saltus Sinafisi

Current artist in residence: Lena Henke

Hotel Saltus, together with sculptor Lena Henke and curator Clara Pohl, invites artists from around the world to embark on an artistic journey.

Saltus Sinafisi is a three-week artist-in-residence program that offers creatives from all disciplines the opportunity to immerse themselves in a residency that includes fully covered board and lodging at Hotel Saltus, along with a dedicated studio space.

This residency encourages artists to engage with the unique local landscape and the traditional craft techniques of Alto Adige. We are looking for artists with a strong connection to the artisanal legacy that defines Hotel Saltus and its surroundings.

Application Requirements:

We are looking for artists who can incorporate tactile craft elements, fostering a connection to the rich heritage that defines Hotel Saltus and its stunning surroundings. Our residency offers a tranquil haven for creative exploration, encouraging artists to push the boundaries of their practice while drawing inspiration from the breathtaking vistas that await.

A fundamental aspect of the residency is the artist’s active engagement with hotel life, which includes meaningful interactions with our guests. Through conversations and exchanges, artists will discover new sources of inspiration—enriching their work and expanding their horizons.
